Pedal Car Races Expand Across Troy This Summer!
After last year’s successful “Pedal Power 200” race at the Troy Traffic Jam, organizers have partnered up with Troy Recreation, Troy Fire Department, and Troy Police Department to offer exciting new pedal car races this summer! Families will get more bang for their buck as kids can race in up to three events spread over June, July, and August. Mark your calendars for June 15th, July 13th, and August 4th and get those pedal cars ready! Each race will be part of an exciting, FREE family friendly summer event here in Troy. Troy Traffic Jam is Right around the Corner
The planning team has been putting the final touches on the 15th Annual Troy Traffic Jam as it quickly approaches! On Sunday, August 6th from 10am – 3pm the Columbia Center on Big Beaver Road will be filled with 300 cars plus activities for all levels of engagement. New this year are free Tech Talks by leading designers in the car industry and the Kids Pedal Power 200 race. Tech Talks Featured Cars Announced
The Troy Traffic Jam is adding depth this year with some of the top designers in the auto industry! Ralph Gilles of Stellantis, Joel Piaskowski from Ford, and Harlan Charles with Corvette will share exciting insights in the Tech Talk Tent at 11am in the tent at the center of the Troy Traffic Jam. Kids Pedal Power 200 at the Troy Traffic Jam
Pedal cars will have a place among the antiques, classic cars, and performance vehicles at the 15th Annual Troy Traffic Jam. Among the other car show activities, flags will wave, and fans will cheer as 3–8-year-olds race their pedal cars around the Columbia Center’s track at 1pm in their chance to win a trophy and bragging rights in the inaugural Kids Pedal Power 200 race.
