Reference Library

The Reference Library is located in the main museum building (1927 Township Hall). Members of the public are welcome to peruse the collection of Michigan and regional history books, periodicals, obituary records, genealogical records, and museum files on Troy history. Whether you are trying to trace your family’s origins, learn about life in a log cabin, how to preserve or restore an old house, or how to be a blacksmith, we may have information you can use. We suggest that researchers make an appointment so that we can provide staff to assist you. The museum library is for reference only. Books may not be removed from the museum.
